ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a Facility Manager based in San Salvador for a remote coordination and operations-support role. This is not an on-site maintenance position. The role is about keeping facility-related operations organized through communication, documentation, follow-up, vendor coordination, and accountability.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Facility Manager will coordinate facility and operations-related tasks remotely, track issues, follow up with vendors and field teams, maintain documentation, and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. The right candidate is highly organized, emotionally intelligent, coachable, and comfortable managing many small operational details with urgency and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate facility and operations-related follow-up remotely
• Track maintenance issues, site needs, vendor updates, and pending actions
• Communicate with vendors, contractors, field teams, clients, and internal leadership
• Maintain logs, checklists, photos, reports, and operating records
• Follow up on deadlines, missing information, quotes, repairs, inspections, and action items
• Escalate risks early and clearly
• Build structure around daily operational details
• Support practical execution through documentation and communication

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Emotional intelligence, coachability, and excellent attitude
• High organization, accountability, and follow-through
• Experience in operations coordination, facility coordination, construction administration, logistics, vendor management, project support, or related fields
• Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, PDFs, photos, reports, and task tracking
• Ability to work remotely while maintaining urgency and discipline

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with MOP, FOVIAL, DOM, municipal works, infrastructure projects, public works, construction operations, facility operations, maintenance coordination, or vendor/contractor management
• Familiarity with El Salvador construction/public works environment
• English professional working ability is a plus
• Experience building checklists, logs, and follow-up systems
